Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (Night Shift)

Overview:
Join Medical Edge Recruitment as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a critical 8-week contract in Lafayette, LA, specializing in Med/Surg. Pay Package:
$26 per hour plus a weekly stipend of $1,200.

Required Skills:

• Valid Louisiana RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Med/Surg nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Strong background in Orthopedics, Neurology, and Trauma care
• Excellent patient assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred but not required)
• Prior experience in hospital Med/Surg units with trauma or neuro specialties

Other Requirements:

• Must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
• Availability for a night shift (12-hour shifts)
• Ability to work in Lafayette, LA for the duration of the contract
• Must have current and valid BLS certification
