Lafayette Veterinary Care Center is a 24/7 veterinary hospital, along with boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare services. Our Pet Care Specialist role focuses on the patient experience at our boarding facility.

This is a full-time position. Hours range from 5:30a-12:30p, 8a-4p, 12p-7p

Pay ranges from 10 on weekdays to 12 on weekends.

Responsibilities:
  • General care for boarded patients including monitoring, feeding, watering, medicating, exercising, and cleaning up after patients.
  • Bringing animals to and from the kenneling areas during check-in and check-out times.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and use of medical terminology.
  • Desire to learn and an ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Uphold our company’s core values.
  • Extraordinary customer service.
  • Routinely check safety and security of patient areas.
  • Greet clients promptly and cheerfully, provide useful and upbeat feedback regarding their pet’s care and stay.
  • Restraining of pets for your safety and our team’s safety.
