Kennel Assistant

Lafayette Veterinary Care Center is a 24/7 veterinary hospital, along with boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare services. Our Pet Care Specialist role focuses on the patient experience at our boarding facility.

This is a full-time position. Hours range from 5:30a-12:30p, 8a-4p, 12p-7p

Pay ranges from 10 on weekdays to 12 on weekends.

We are looking to hire those who are brave, caring, and resilient. At this clinic, we see it all from puppy and kitten appointments to critical, all-hands-on-deck emergencies.

• General care for boarded patients including monitoring, feeding, watering, medicating, exercising, and cleaning up after patients.
• Bringing animals to and from the kenneling areas during check-in and check-out times.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and use of medical terminology.
