Shop & Facility Porter

Sterling Hyundai & Genesis of Lafayette is seeking a reliable Shop & Facility Porter to maintain the overall order, cleanliness, and presentation of our sales and service areas. This position is essential to ensuring a safe, clean, and professional environment for our customers and employees.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the main sales and service shop at Hyundai and Genesis
• Keep the detail shop, lube shop, and service entrances at both stores orderly and clean
• Oversee cleanliness of the car wash area and general exterior of Hyundai and Genesis facilities
• Perform routine trash removal, sweeping, pressure washing, and other upkeep as needed
• Support dealership operations by ensuring a safe and professional environment
• As needed, assist with moving cars on the lot from one point to another

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean workspace
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various conditions
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screen
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years of age or have 3 full years of driving experience
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required

Full-time, Monday-Friday
