This position provides security for patients, guests, and employees. Duties include enforcing company policies, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining a courteous, professional presence at all times.

• Enforce all company safety and security rules, regulations, and policies on company property.
• Conduct routine inspections of on‑site and off‑site locations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, reporting all findings in a timely manner.
• Perform opening and lockdown of all buildings as approved by Administration.
• Participate in emergency response and related preparedness drills.
• Maintain required annual certifications and complete training within specified timelines.
• Adapt communication style to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Security, law enforcement, or military.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of practice and clean DMV report.
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) and firearms training.
• International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Successfully complete the Field Training Officer (FTO) Program within the first 60 days of employment.

• Proficient in Windows‑style applications and data entry.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Readiness to report for duty during emergencies.
• Physical capability to walk the entire campus, including stairs and multiple floors.

Medium work:
Exerting 20–50 pounds of force occasionally and 10–25 pounds frequently. Requires walking, standing, and occasionally moving objects. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases may occur.
