Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Physician that is Board Certified/Board Eligible in Infectious Disease to join our medical team in LaGrange, Georgia. In addition to caring for patients in the office, the physician will have the opportunity to provide inpatient consults at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, a 276-bed hospital, adjacent to the outpatient practice setting.

Located in LaGrange, Ga. (1 hour south of Atlanta) Wellstar West Georgia (WGMC) provides healthcare to residents in west Georgia and east Alabama. WGMC is a full-service hospital that has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the only hospital in Georgia to receive Truven Health’s “100 Top Hospitals” for 7 consecutive years and Becker’s “100 Great Community Hospitals”.

Minimum Education
- An MD or DO Degree Required
- Applicants must be licensed or eligible for a license in the State of Georgia
- Applicants must have completed the necessary Residency and/or Fellowship training requisite for their given specialty and be Certified or qualified for Certification by their respective specialty Board Required
- Previous practice experience in a Residency or Fellowship Training Program Required
- It is expected that applicants will possess skills commensurate with their given specialty.
- Applicants will be expected to show proof of competency for clinical skills applied for.
