This small community hospital operates 6 ORs and 2 endoscopy suites on a daily basis, supporting a collaborative anesthesia care model across its surgical service lines. The daily anesthesia team consists of 8-9 CRNAs and 1-2 physicians, with CRNAs performing their own cases, blocks, central lines, and arterial lines under a physician supervision model. Locum Tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought on an ASAP ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within an operating room setting, with call requirements negotiable. The surgical case mix includes Interventional Radiology, OB, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, and OB/GYN procedures; neurological and cardiac cases are excluded. The primary call physician responds to OR cases only, while primary OB call is covered by a CRNA.

Board certification is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
