Anesthesiologist

Locum Tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought by this small community hospital in LaGrange, GA on an ASAP ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department. Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within an operating room setting. Board certification is required for all clinicians considered for this role.

Practice Info

• Small community hospital operating 6 ORs and 2 endoscopy suites on a daily basis
• Collaborative anesthesia care model across surgical service lines
• Daily anesthesia team consists of 8-9 CRNAs and 1-2 physicians
• CRNAs perform their own cases, blocks, central lines, and arterial lines under a physician supervision model
• Surgical case mix includes Interventional Radiology, OB, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, and OB/GYN procedures
• Neurological and cardiac cases are excluded
