General Manager – Hotel Management and Consulting, Inc.

Location: LaGrange, GA (Studio Res)

About the Role

Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking an experienced, dynamic, hands‑on leader with a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate is adaptable, energetic, goal‑driven, and has a proven track record in hotel management.

Primary Duties
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a team of 6‑12 staff members; provide hands‑on support and guidance.
  • Ensure the hotel is “Guest Ready” by maintaining high cleanliness standards and addressing guest concerns promptly.
  • Operate within brand guidelines, meet operational deadlines, manage budgets, and control labor, occupancy, and P&L to ensure successful operations.
  • Lead sales & marketing initiatives, network locally, and build strong relationships with competitive properties and key clients.
  • Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and public space duties; cover shifts as needed.
  • Follow and enforce property emergency procedures and security protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • At least 1 year as a Hotel General Manager.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and aggressive problem solving.
  • Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending and twisting for long periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
