Millitron Operator

Job Description

The Millitron operator is responsible for the production of 1st quality carpet on dye ranges. This must be done safely while minimizing downtime.

Overview

Associates will be responsible for:

• Auditing that all quality critical set-points are correct
• Perform colorways and change-overs according to specifications
• Running orders according to provided schedule
• Troubleshooting Millitron quality issues
• Learning how to perform Millitron DTM / control plan items
• The associate will be expected to learn and cross train on all Millitrons in the facility
• Pass written and demonstrated skills test for Millitron Operator
• Completion of Millitron operator demonstrated skills, beginning with tile print rover.

Requirements

• Must be computer literate and able to learn computer systems quickly
• Must be able to drive a fork lift
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must abide by job specific safety and maintain SHARP compliance
• Must attend echo team meetings and safety meetings.

Schedule

10 - 12 hour shift schedule and reports to the area supervisor.
