Registered Nurse; RN Float Pool – Night Shift

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized patient care in a safe and compassionate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the Nursing Process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, incorporating cultural competence.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication methods, ensuring patient goals guide care planning.
• Coordinate safe, quality care delivery and documentation, promoting teamwork, respectful environment, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Support professional development by completing competency assessments, serving as a preceptor or mentor, and participating in ongoing education.
• Engage in evidence-based practice, research, and data collection to enhance patient outcomes and uphold organizational policies and standards.
• Participate in protocol development, resource management, and performance improvement activities aimed at optimizing care and reducing adverse events.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Required certifications include BLS and others upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, customer service, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and respond decisively to emergencies.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in English communication.
