Job Description: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of commercial and industrial HVAC systems in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. This role focuses on preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to ensure reliable, safe, and energy‑efficient system performance.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, safety-focused, and motivated by solving complex mechanical challenges. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced HVAC equipment, building automation systems, and data‑driven maintenance programs while contributing to a high‑performing facilities team.

- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot HVACR system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, control schematics, sequences of operation, and service manuals
- Monitor and operate Building Management Systems (BMS) and document performance data
- Start, stop, test, and optimize HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Handle refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, brazing, and leak detection per EPA standards
- Maintain accurate service reports, equipment logs, refrigerant records, and maintenance documentation
- Recommend system improvements and future maintenance needs
- Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and clean work areas to safety and quality standards
- Assist with major repairs and collaborate with maintenance planners to optimize PM programs
- Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergency response
- Follow OSHA safety practices, complete job hazard analyses, and properly handle hazardous materials
- Attend OEM and technical training as assigned and complete all required documentation on time
Education & Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- HVAC technical certificate (2‑year program) or state‑approved HVAC license preferred
Experience:
- Proven experience working on commercial and/or industrial HVAC systems
- Experience with chillers, boilers, and kitchen equipment is a plus
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license
Technical & Professional
Skills:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to read technical documentation and write clear service reports
- Strong verbal communication skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high‑paced environment
