Associate Athletic Director of Compliance

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Athletics, the Associate Athletic Director of Compliance oversees LaGrange College's NCAA compliance program.

• Monitor and certify student-athlete eligibility for practice and competition in accordance with NCAA and institutional standards.
• Serve as a liaison between Athletics and campus offices such as Enrollment, Registrar, and Financial Aid to ensure accurate and timely processing of eligibility and compliance documentation.
• Educate coaches, staff, and student-athletes on NCAA rules and regulations; provide interpretations and guidance as needed.
• Prepare and submit required NCAA and institutional reports, including eligibility waivers and rule interpretations.
• Develop and distribute compliance education materials for internal and external constituents, including boosters and alumni.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and assist in investigating and reporting potential violations.
• Represent the athletics department at conference meetings, NCAA regional rules seminars, and national conventions as needed.
• Assist with game-day operations, event management, and other departmental duties as assigned.
• Leads the Title IX compliance for all women’s athletic programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management or a related field and demonstrated experience in NCAA compliance and eligibility processes, strong knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation, 3-5 years experience working in an athletics management role in higher education and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
