As a Senior Sterile Processing Technician (Level III) you will demonstrate technical expertise at the SPD Tech II level and assume responsibility for complex instrumentation (e.g., Ortho, Neuro, and/or ENT) maintenance and development. You will work with the SPD Supervisor, SPD Clinical Manager, Surgery Specialty Techs, and/or Surgery Clinical Nurse III to promote and improve unit quality, participate in the development of technical practice standards, assist in training and orienting new staff, and provide ongoing education regarding specialty instrumentation for all SPD staff.

• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician – Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• National Certified Instrument Specialist – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
• At least 2 years sterile processing experience in an acute‑care setting.
• At least 2 years high‑level disinfection experience (high‑level disinfection or endoscopy).

• Coursework or training in high‑level disinfection, including decontamination, processing, sterilization, and quality control; flexible scope reprocessing.

Posted wage range for this position: $24.00 – $35.77 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
