This Hotel & Beach Valet Attendant position (Laguna Beach) is a Part Time Seasonal role, paid at $16.50 an hour plus tips.

SCP is currently seeking an adaptable, self‑starting Valet Attendant to assist our guests with their hotel and beach valet needs.

You are positive and energetic with a great can‑do attitude! You are looking to be part of a super fun team while still being able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. You are people‑oriented, outgoing, adaptable, and professional, and you want to grow within the company.

• Responsible for greeting and welcoming all of our guests to our hotel & assisting guests with their luggage, vehicle, and other valet needs.
• Be yourself and care genuinely about each interaction you have with our guests.
• Car valet will be a large component of this job, so the ability to drive manual/stick is a huge plus.
• Assist with delivering luggage, beach chairs, bikes or other amenities as needed.
• Provide hotel tours as needed for guests who are unfamiliar with the hotel.
• Proper storage of owner luggage, bikes, cars, golf clubs or other items upon check‑in or out.
• Assist in delivering messages, newspapers, departure notices, and requested items to guests if needed.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the exterior presence of the hotel, hotel transportation items, storage areas, and garage.
• Setting up beach chairs and umbrellas for our hotel guests.
• Getting towels for guests and assisting them with anything else they are bringing to the beach.

Must have:

• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to drive stick shift for valet needs.
• Ability and willingness to work based on the needs of the hotel which is a 24/7 operation.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment with urgency and empathy.
• Outstanding coordination and multi‑tasking abilities.
