Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa of Laguna Beach, a 5-star full service day spa overlooking the pacific ocean on PCH, is looking to hire an enthusiastic Front Desk Coordinator/Spa Associate to help lead our sales and front desk team, and boost service, membership and gift card sales. We have a really fun and easy going team who love what they do, love where they work, and show up every day excited about their jobs.

Our new Front Desk Coordinator will be an outgoing and positive individual, who enjoys in-person sales, doesn't mind staying busy and working on multiple projects, gets along with a variety of different people, is a self-starter who enjoys taking the initiative to reach a goal, and who loves to talk with clients and recommend services and products. Compensation includes a generous hourly base rate + commissions for membership sales ($10-$25 per membership), and commissions for hitting gift card sales goals, AND a lucrative Christmas bonus. Front Desk employees also receive 50% OFF all services and retail products, special pricing for friends and family, a $1,000 New Employee Bonus, and numerous other perks.
When you combine the membership and gift card commissions, plus the strong base hourly rate, the majority of our front desk team earns on average more than $16.50 an hour! PLUS, medical and dental benefits are available, as well as a 401K retirement account for those interested in putting some money away.

Hand and Stone is seeking for a Spa Associate. You are a critical link in ensuring that our customers' experience in our spa is nothing other than OUTSTANDING! The primary Qualifications and Requirements of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to members/guests
• Welcome and greet members/guests upon arrival
• Answer phones, book appointments, sell memberships, gift cards and upgrades
• Follow proper filing procedures/file maintenance
• Promote health/wellness benefits of massage therapy
• Maintain a professional and clean work environment & appearance
• Positive, energetic attitude
• Team player
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office application, Millennium booking software (will train) and basic accounting principles.
