Join Ganahl Lumber as an Order Puller – a Yard Worker who processes orders by picking and filling material orders in the yard. The role includes sending and accepting shipments while keeping the yard clean, safe, and organized at all times.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a cold or hot environment during the different seasons and can stand or work for extended periods while fulfilling orders.

• Inventory – Pick and package products as ordered by the customer into their vehicles, maintain inventory, assist with restocking products and supplies as needed, report defective products, and keep thorough notes and documentation.
• Safety and housekeeping – Ensure a safe working environment by keeping an organized work station, alerting supervisors of any concerns, completing continuing safety education, reviewing complaints, and notifying shift leaders of shipping or receiving issues.

• Prior experience working with inventory control systems is preferred.
• Prior knowledge of lumber yards and processes is preferred but training will be provided.
• Experience operating certain power equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift, and carry items in the yard.
