Position: Cash Application and Posting Specialist

Position Summary

This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate accounts receivable records, ensuring timely posting of payments, and supporting day-to-day billing operations. The ideal candidate has experience in pharmacy or healthcare billing, familiarity with payer processes, and a commitment to accuracy, organization, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post and reconcile payments, adjustments, and write‑offs.
  • Review and resolve denials, underpayments, and payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor aged A/R to ensure timely collections.
  • Create and log daily bank deposits; prepare and verify bank reconciliations.
  • Review EOBs/ERAs for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Scan and sort daily mail, checks and payment documents.
  • Contribute to monthly posting and bookkeeping reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent billing accuracy.
Required

Education and Experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent;
    Accounting
  • 1-3 years of cash posting, accounting, or pharmacy billing.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Work Schedule
  • In‑person
  • Monday through Friday; day shift
  • Overtime as needed
