Position Overview
Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted “Best Urgent Care” for eight consecutive years in Bakersfield, CA. We currently have 18 clinics located throughout Southern California and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a full-time or part-time Urgent Care Staff Physician for our clinic located in Laguna Hills, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour meal break.
- P/T will be a minimum of 6 shifts per month, and PRN will be 2-4 shifts per month.
- Physicians will have to manage 2-4 mid-level providers.
- Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
- Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
- Equipment:
In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders. - Easy-to-use EMR with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.
- Medical Degree (M.D. or
D.O) - Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
- Truly Board-Eligible or Board Certified
- CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
- DEA Certificate
Our doors opened in 2012, in Bakersfield, CA. We have expanded our brand and services throughout Bakersfield, Fresno, Clovis, Chino, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, Murrieta, Temecula, Dana Point, Laguna Hills, and Los Angeles. We plan to open about 5 more clinics in the next 2 years. So far, we have 18 clinical locations throughout Central and Southern CA to service your urgent care needs.
