Preschool Infant and Toddler Teacher at Crossline Church in Laguna Hills, CA.

Part time and full time positions.

• The Infant and Toddler Teacher assists in implementing the curriculum, working with parents, and assessing the needs of individual children.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining an environment for children that is clean, safe, and appropriate for each child’s developmental level.
• Help manage the classroom through positive feedback, encouragement, and redirection.
• Plan and implement hands‑on activities that develop self‑esteem.
• View parent–teacher relationship as a partnership, focusing on each child’s individual strengths and abilities.

• High school diploma.
• At least 18 years of age and able to model the Lead Teacher.
• Open to enrolling in coursework in child development, child family, community, curriculum, and infant care if not already completed.
• A warm and friendly personality, sensitive to the feelings and needs of others and able to relate well with children.
• Willing to fulfill the responsibilities in accordance with the Church’s educational philosophy.
• Demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit as evidence of a growing Christ‑centered life (Galatians 5:16‑25, Ephesians 5:18‑21).
• Be teachable and faithful in learning from and following those in authority over them and fully supporting the vision of Crossline Church.
• Fulfill the duties required of Crossline Church members as outlined in the membership covenant.
• Philosophical alignment with church leadership.
• Committed to continued development.
• Clear Live Scan and Criminal Background.
• 24 units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development minimum; AA or BA preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Record of immunizations: current TB test clearance, MMR, DTaP, annual influenza.
• Hours may vary as needed; center open from 7 am‑6 pm.
• Additional requirements for all Church Staff Members:
• Love Jesus and call themselves Christians.
• Embrace a high biblical standard of personal conduct and lifestyle.
• Agree to and adhere to the church's statement of faith and leadership commitment.
• Attend Crossline Community Church.

Monday–Friday. Hours vary.
