Job Description Summary The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.Respond to guest complaints and requests, ensuring satisfaction.Clean and service assigned rooms and areas as per standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash.Notify supervisor upon completion of service and report any issues.Monitor laundry supplies and operate washers and dryers, inspect linens, and report damages.Minimize waste of supplies and assist with deep cleaning projects.Report repairs or unsafe conditions.Handle lost and found items properly.Promote teamwork and communication with other shifts and management.Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.Experience in extended stay industry preferred.Fluent English skills preferred; additional languages beneficial.Basic reading, writing, and math skills preferred.Ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and move about frequently.Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.Use of commercial cleaning chemicals required.Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Additional Information
Pay Range: $17.75 - $18.75, depending on experience and skills.
