Job Description

Small (but rapidly growing!), friendly, Orange County law firm seeks a 4+ year associate with general civil litigation experience—insurance defense experience a plus!! The ideal candidate should have the ability to perform basic aspects of litigation (e.g., propounding and responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, attending hearings, taking and defending depositions, insurance carrier reporting, etc.) plus have the ability to competently handle a case from inception through preparation for trial, with supervision and collaboration from senior lawyers.

Performed basic aspects of litigation and competently handled a case from inception through preparation for trial with supervision and collaboration from senior lawyers.

Required:

4 years of recent general civil litigation experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office, litigation data management software (including time keeping) and general business software/applications. Excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to prioritize, organize and work cohesively in a small-size, friendly office environment are necessary.
