Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Charge NICU III night shift position in California, requiring advanced NICU and high-risk delivery experience.

Responsibilities
Work in a Level III NICU within a hospital setting
Charge RN position on the night shift (3x12s, 18:30–07:30)
Care for neonatal intensive care patients, including attending high-risk deliveries
Float requirements include L&D and potential floating between affiliated sites
Documentation in Epic EMR
Weekend shifts scheduled as needed by the unit
No on-call responsibilities
Must be comfortable with both NICU patient care and supervising clinical staff as Charge RN
Pre-approved time off is subject to manager discretion and must be requested in advance
Floating may occur between multiple units or locations based on staffing needs
Scrubs are required while on duty
Local candidates are accommodated at the local pay rate if residing within 50 miles

Requirements
Active CA RN license required
Minimum 3 years of Level IV NICU nursing experience
Current BLS and Advanced NRP certifications required
Charge nurse experience in a NICU setting required
Experience attending high-risk deliveries required
First-time travelers accepted
