Job Summary

Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company. This role supports the lighting operation for House of Blues Orlando, including load-in, setup, focal and lighting adjustments, spotlight operations, maintenance of lighting equipment, and collaboration with the production team to ensure a successful show.

• Performs the load-in of band equipment and rental equipment
• Set up and break-down of band and event equipment
• Adjusts focus and lighting to artist or event specifications
• Operates spotlight and lighting control boards and programs lighting
• Maintains and repairs lighting equipment
• Assists with production throughout the venue as needed
• Accommodates artist/event A/V requirements
• Ensures safe and consistent operation of lighting
• Assists with technical advance with artist representatives
• Ensures proper care and handling of all House of Blues equipment and rental lighting & A/V equipment
• Interacts with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show
• Distributes or creates lighting plot plans
• Oversees and operates lighting systems for the entire event
• Ensures special events lighting needs are scheduled and met
• Assists audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
• Assists with any special events operations

What this person will bring

• 3 years minimum tour or stage production experience
• Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
• Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• High School Diploma

Preferred

• College degree

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, extreme lighting changes, strobes & moving lights
• Able to wear a radio earpiece during the scheduled shift
