Bondurant-Farrar CSD is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Strategist II - ) at Bondurant-Farrar High School (serving grades 9-12) for the 2026-27 school year.

• Valid State of Iowa teaching license, with appropriate endorsement(s) or certification(s)
  • K-12 Instructional Strategist II:  - 264
• Bachelor's degree in position related area

• The 2026-27 Salary Schedule will be available soon!
  • Minimum salary of $50,000; additional money for experience and educational hours
  • All licensed and practicing Strategist II teachers in the Bondurant-Farrar CSD will receive an additional $3,500 to their base salary on an annual basis.

Building Principal

Meets licensure requirements of the Department of Education

• Plans a program of study that, as much as possible meets the needs, interests and abilities of students
• Creates a climate that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students
• Guides the learning process toward the achievement of stated goals and objectives
• Employs methods and materials that are appropriate for meetings stated objectives
• Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports
• Maintains effective communications with the principal, students and parents
• Strives to maintain and improve professional competence
• Attends staff meetings and serves on committees as required
• Performs other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the board or administration
• Demonstrates ability to enhance academic performance and support for implementation of the school district student achievement goals
• Demonstrates competence in content knowledge appropriate to the teaching position
• Demonstrates competence in planning and preparing for instruction
• Uses strategies to deliver instruction that meet the multiple learning needs of students
• Uses a variety of methods to monitor student learning
• Demonstrates competence in classroom management
• Engages in professional growth
• Fulfills professional responsibilities established by the school district
