• Provide Process Engineering technical support to Operating Unit(s) to sustain and improve profitability.
• Provide Process Engineering technical input to the Project Group – as the lead in developing Conceptual Design;
  Basic Engineering Package; etc. as part of the Project Development life cycle.

• Develop a strong understanding of the operation of the assigned unit – have a working knowledge of Safety & Environmental Procedures and Policies that impact Operations & Project Development & Execution.
• Troubleshoot and solve unit operating problems.
• Develop and support execution of projects and assignments per company workflow processes, policies and procedures within schedule and cost budgets.
• Assist with Process Safety Management/Process Hazard Analysis.
• Coordinate and organize work with other disciplines. Maintain good working relationships between disciplines.
• Perform Process Engineering calculations. Check calculations of other engineers for completeness, code compliance and accuracy.
• Support the development of Operating Procedures, review and validate training material.
• Develop a strong working relationship with the various parts of the Business Team to support Unit Optimization.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

• 3+ years relevant engineering experience.

• Experience in a PSM and ISO environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
