This is the second of five levels in the Event Series. Event Series positions are a variety of job functions essential to the successful operation of an event.

• Use ticket scanning to escort patrons and prevent entry without tickets.
• Greet patrons, maintain a pleasant attitude, and provide courteous service.
• Check  guests ordering alcohol, ensuring compliance.
• Handle cash and credit card sales, giving appropriate change.
• Count cash at shift end and return to bank clerk or manager.
• Assist patrons with directions, seating, concessions, and housekeeping.
• Assist custodians with trash pickup after events.
• Communicate hazards to operations staff.
• Participate in training sessions conducted by the company.
• Monitor and control crowds as necessary.
• Work a varied schedule based on the event calendar.

This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

• Currently enrolled in an educational program pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Valid driver’s license or state identification.
• May be required to obtain a liquor license.

• Proficient in speaking and understanding English.
• Read and interpret documents such as instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Deal effectively and courteously with the general public.
• Familiar with evacuation procedures and patron safety.
• Strong organizational skills and technology proficiency.
• Adapt to guest needs, maintain focus in high-volume environment.
• Maintain position until relieved or dismissed.
• Communicate effectively with staff and follow direction from supervisors.
• Think quickly and rationally in emergency situations.
• Exhibit courteous, respectful communication.
• Collaborate cooperatively with others.

The employee is required to stand for extended periods and frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb stairs is required.

The employee may work outdoors, handle mechanical parts, and encounter moderate noise. May be exposed to electrical shock risk.
