As an Assembler at Owens Corning in Lake Charles, you will build and assemble various door parts across multiple business lines. Tasks are fast paced and require a high level of mental alertness and attention to detail.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 4 pm

Hourly pay: $15.00 + benefits. Base pay varies within the range depending on knowledge, skills, and experience. • Under minimal supervision build and assemble various door parts.
• Work safely and follow all plant rules.
• Show initiative and be a self‑starter.
• Communicate clearly in English.
• Multi‑task and work independently or as part of a team.
• Work shift‑flexible.
• Read a tape measure and perform basic math.

• High School Diploma or GED; at least 18 years old.
• Pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screening.
• Ability to stand for 10‑12 hours straight.
• Lift at least 50 lbs; push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Perform repetitive movements such as lifting, pushing, pulling 40 lbs.
• Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed.
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes and noise levels.

• Knowledge of hand tools and push carts.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
