Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse, Acute Med Surgical B - Full time
Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists the Registered Nurse in the delivery of patient care. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the LPN is responsible for administering direct patient care, treatments as ordered by the physician and administering medications as outlined by hospital policy and procedure.
- Assist the Registered Nurse in the delivery of patient care under supervision.
- Administer direct patient care and treatments as ordered by the physician and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.

- Education/
Skills:
Graduate of a State Board of Practical Nursing or equivalent. - Experience:
Six (6) months experience preferred. - Licenses/Registrations/
Certifications:
Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Louisiana upon hire; BLS – upon hire.
- Work Schedule:
6AM - 6PM, 12 HR Shift - Work Type:
Full Time
