Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with at least one completed travel contract and recent Epic experience for a night shift position requiring LA or compact RN licensure.

• Active LA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI (facility offers a CPI class if not already certified)
• NRP and ENPC certifications preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required, trauma ED experience preferred
• At least one completed ED travel contract required, additional travel experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience within the last year required

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting, preferably a trauma center
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Floating required in rotation with facility staff according to clinical experience and facility policy
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Minimal RTO expected, with no requests during the first two weeks of the assignment or for full calendar weeks off
• Any RTO must be approved and documented prior to the start of the assignment
• Some holiday coverage expected
• First-time travelers will not be considered due to travel contract experience requirement
