We are looking for qualified professionals to join our Quality Assurance Team as a Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician. This is a safe, stable position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities- Monitor product quality at the end of production lines, inspecting various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications.
- Know the product specifications for the line they are working on and fill out an audit report form.
- Follow and help enforce Plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
- Audit metal detectors and test trim for
E. coli via N60 sampling. - Other duties as assigned.
- Work in a safety-sensitive, on-site environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
- Experience with email communications
- Microsoft Office (Excel) skills
- Beef products knowledge preferred
- Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
- Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish
- Hourly, management support position – willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship at this time
