Inside Sales Specialist

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers and vendors, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. The role requires making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

• Understand customer needs and requirements.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
• Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
• Customer retention focused through a proactive touch model.
• Partner with Marketing to support lead and demand generation.
• Partner with Outside Sales to support large customers and lead generation.
• Partner with Customer Experience to support quote conversion.
• Responsible for warehouse inventory management including frequent counts, reordering, and maintaining adequate inventory levels.
• Check in incoming freight and parcel truck deliveries.
• Pull and pack parts/orders per customer request.
• Daily work in ERP system generating quotes, purchase orders, and customer orders, including follow-up calls and electronic communications with vendors and customers.
• Generate shipping labels for various carriers.

• High School Diploma or beyond.
• 3+ years of sales, sales development, and/or account management experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, etc.), ERP Systems, CRM knowledge.
• Comfortable working fluidly across personal and digital communications channels.
• 5+ years of customer success or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of fluid power systems.
• Fluid power systems training/certifications.
• Knowledge of the MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) industry.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and effectively manage time in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong phone presence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening and presentation skills.
• Strong organization skills.
