- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity or potential threats.
- Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings per Allied Universal protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter risks and provide assistance as needed.
- Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and members of the public while upholding security standards.
- Handle and carry a firearm in accordance with training and policy, responding appropriately to incidents requiring an armed response.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and timely.
- 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
- Armed guard card or license.
- At least 21 years old for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
- Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
- Drug screen as permitted by law.
- Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements subject to state or local laws.
- Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
