Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will make an impact by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. You will develop preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned PMs within the outlined timeframe, and conduct training for Store Associates about equipment care and cleaning.

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment)
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, providing required written and electronic information (expense vouchers, weekly summaries, maintenance logs, etc.)

• Previous experience in maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment, etc.)
• Understanding of the importance of Customer Service with clear communication
• Personal accountability and effective time management
• Adaptability to changing demands using solid judgment to prioritize
• Belief in Servant Leadership and teamwork to achieve goals

• 3 years’ experience in maintenance
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• Eligibility for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade OR 5 years’ experience in the same trades

• Completion of a 2‑year Vocational or Technical trade program
• License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located
• Intermediate proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
