Position: Security Alarm Field Apprentice- TRAINING AND BENEFITS INCLUDED
** Overview
* ** Participate and complete online and in person coursework.
* Pull, label, terminate, and test cabling
* Install and repair systems
* Work in the field with the most efficient methods to solve service issues.
* Understand, adhere to, and promote OSHA Health & Safety policies.
* Interface with customer contacts on projects and work orders.
* Interface with the end-users and coordinate with vendors for each project.
* Hands-on field interaction with customers at the site level.
* The position is full-time and maybe requested to working during non-business hours.
* High School Diploma or GED;
Vocational/Technical School, preferred.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Aptitude and interest in performing repairs
* Eagerness to learn
* Comfortable using small hand tools and power tools.
* Legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
* Physical demands include:
* Finger and wrist dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
* Heavy physical effort.
* Climbing stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds.
* Carrying loads up and downstairs.
* Exposure to noisy or dusty conditions; chemicals & solvents; mechanical, electrical, and/or other hazards.
* Schedule flexibility and willingness to travel overnight

Interface is seeking an Alarm Technician Apprentice. In this position, you will learn and develop valuable career skills on your path to becoming a Journeyman Technician. You will work under the supervision of a Journeyman Technician and will become proficient in installing, troubleshooting and maintaining Fire Systems, Burglar Alarms, uCaas, Managed Networks, Video Surveillance, Access Control & Wireless solutions. * * Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to pass applicable state and federal background checks to become a registered security installer. Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts, and rooftops utilizing proper fall protection.
