Operating at a journeyman level, perform a variety of complex services in specialized building system areas such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration including maintenance, repair, and operation.
How you will do it- Perform a variety of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration service work including PM and repair, in a truck route service environment covering a portfolio of buildings for a single client.
- Plan, select, and lay out required materials for service and repair work.
- Work from drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts or verbal instructions and operate a variety of tools and equipment incidental to operations.
- Requisition new supplies and equipment.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Require off‑hour on‑call and emergency response.
- Five or more years’ experience in the HVAC/R service field.
- EPA Refrigerant Universal certification.
- In‑depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs.
- Physically able to perform maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, including ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs., etc.
- Ability to respond to alarm calls during off‑hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and a background check requirement.
- Team player committed to working in a quality environment.
- Familiar with boiler and air/water cooled chillers.
Pay: $36.82 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
