Monday - Thursday: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Fridays: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM / 9:45 AM - 6:15 PM (Alternating)
Saturdays: 1 - 3 per month from 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM
Occasional opener: 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
RoleEnsure that members receive courteous, accurate, and timely assistance. Support the Head Teller in supervising daily cash operations and assist with the training and guidance of Tellers as needed.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Exemplifies the core values of CAMPUS while supporting our strategic priorities for members, employees, and community. Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and wire transfers. Provide approvals/overrides for complex transactions. Assist in balancing ATM(s), recyclers, debit card issuance machines, and audit duties. Balance cash drawer and daily transactions
- Schedule, train, and assist with performance reviews and coordinate teller activities. Works as primary teller line supervisor when the Head Teller is not present
- Monitor the work of other tellers, assist with staff development, answer questions about products, and resolve member or staff problems within their authority
- Maintain member records and cross-sell credit union services
- Welcome members, provide routine information about our services, and direct members to the appropriate department for specific information and assistance
- Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals. Investigate and resolve out-of-balance situations
- Inform management about any important operational issues that affect the department
- Exemplify positive behavior for your colleagues to follow, both in person and on social media platforms
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of similar or related experience
- CAMPUS Cash Operations Certification. New hires must complete Cash Operations Certification within 18 months of employment
