Physical Therapist – part‑time, 20 hours per week

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care for an assigned group of patients in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The PT conducts patient assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans, and directs a majority of the patient’s physical therapy to support patients throughout the continuum of care.
Responsibilities- Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
- Assess and evaluate therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status; participate in developing the total plan of care.
- Deliver purposeful and skilled therapeutic care using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician’s plan.
- Instruct patient, family, or caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, or prosthetic devices for use outside of therapy sessions.
- Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments and handoffs.
- State licensed Physical Therapist.
- Bachelor’s degree.
