Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Facility: Lake City Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Location: Lake City, Florida
Shift: PRN
Salary: $35-$37 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Comprehensive Assessments & Treatment Planning:
Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate residents' needs and develop tailored therapeutic plans. - Empowering Independence:
Help residents regain independence by guiding them in mastering daily tasks and enhancing their functional abilities. - Therapeutic Support:
Provide hands‑on support to residents during prescribed activities, promoting recovery from illness, injury, or other health challenges. - Confidentiality & Compliance:
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, ensuring all resident information is handled in accordance with healthcare regulations. - Team
Collaboration:
Work seamlessly with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and provide outstanding care.
- Florida State COTA License:
Current, active COTA license in Florida is required. - Preferred Experience:
Experience in long‑term care settings is a plus, though not mandatory.
