RS&H is seeking a visionary Highway Area Discipline Leader for our South Florida transportation business within our East Region Infrastructure Business Unit. As the South Florida Highway Area Discipline Leader (ADL), you will take charge of RS&H’s South Florida Highway practice, steering both top-line growth and operational excellence. You’ll lead a talented team of professionals, fostering a culture of engagement, empowerment, and continuous improvement. You will provide leadership and oversight to a team of professionals with a shared focus on ensuring client satisfaction and quality outcomes.

This includes developing and retaining existing associates, recruiting new talent and capabilities, and fostering a diverse knowledge of appropriate discipline principles and techniques.

Collaboration is essential: you will work effectively with leaders, teams, and associates across the firm to help drive success, promote teamwork, and coordinate resource levels to ensure client needs are satisfied and associates are exposed to diverse and escalating project responsibilities. Ensuring adherence to all client and regulatory requirements, you will provide expertise on standards, quality assurance, and construction methods and materials.

In summary, you will take the lead on all aspects of growing our South Florida Highway practice:

• Strategic Leadership

  Take charge of RS&H’s South Florida Highway practice, steering both top-line growth and operational excellence. You’ll lead a talented team of 10+ professionals, fostering a culture of engagement, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
• Business Development
  :
  Be the face of RS&H in the region—cultivate client relationships, drive brand recognition, and lead winning pursuits for major FDOT and county projects.
• Project Delivery
  :
  Oversee large-scale conventional and design-build projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Your expertise will shape the future of a wide range of arterials, interstates, and interchanges across South Florida.
• Operational Excellence
  :
  Drive operational excellence, including profitability, operational efficiency, resource management, and quality deliverables, and provide subject matter expertise.
• Innovation & Influence
  :
  Champion new technologies, tools, and training. Your insights will help set the direction for the discipline, with strategies that deliver measurable business growth over the next 1–3 years.
