Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Prepare trucks for the day: load gas cans, mowers, and other equipment; secure all equipment.
• Perform groundskeeping on properties: mow turf using various mowers; line trim and edge; sweep and blow leaves and clippings.
• Prune shrubs and trees as needed and clear debris; pull weeds; clean site and watch for trash, limbs, and rocks.
• Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin‑axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain‑saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws.
• Shovel snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots and spread salt as required.
• Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, removing thatch, trimming, and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls.
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge/brush trimmers, axes, shears, pruners, or chainsaws.
• Seed: prepare and apply erosion‑control blankets; apply fertilizer, herbicide, pesticide, fungicide; perform aquatic applications; water trees, shrubs, plants, flowers, bulbs, seeds, and sod; groom and divide plants.
• Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other ground features.
• Plantings and flower installation: prep soil; cultivate beds; apply mulch; core aerate; prune, plant, remove or replace shrubs, plants, and flowers; replace damaged or hazardous trees; perform non‑substantive sod replacement.
• Use mulch appropriately; water correctly; edge beds or establish new boundaries.
• Perform maintenance on equipment: wash equipment and truck; maintain and repair tools, equipment, and structures such as fences and benches; perform minor out‑building maintenance using hand and power tools.
• Other duties: snow removal – must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Some experience in lawn care helpful; must be able to operate various lawn‑care machinery including mowers, edgers, and backpack blowers.
• Skills: Good communication; organizational and prioritization skills; problem‑solving ability; self‑starting and self‑motivated; capable of minimal supervision; flexible teamwork; maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with co‑workers, clients, and vendors.
• Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of equipment and materials; lever 80 lbs on walk‑behind mower; lift and carry up to 50 lbs; lift shovels full of snow; lift branches and limbs; push, pull, grip various tools; walk up to 10 miles/day on uneven terrain; bend and kneel up to 6 hours or more; use hand saw; work up to 12 hours/day; work in extreme weather;
