Beauty Advisor - Full Time

Belk is looking for a Beauty Advisor to join our team. The role focuses on driving sales and providing a positive customer experience through excellent service, building client relationships, product applications, and tailored recommendations across multiple beauty brands.

Responsibilities include creating memorable store experiences, building customer loyalty through personalized consultations, executing promotions, leveraging digital tools, continuously enhancing product knowledge, merchandising, and supporting store operations.

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative in achieving store objectives and driving personal and store metrics.
• Create memorable store experiences by building relationships with team, vendors, customers, and the community.
• Build customer loyalty by delivering excellent service, personalized consultations, utilizing clienteling tools, and providing tailored product advice.
• Execute successful promotions, special events, and customer outreach to maximize performance and drive sales.
• Utilize selling tools and digital devices to provide customers with a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Leverage training tools, brand resources, and feedback to continuously build product knowledge and artistry skills.
• Merchandise and replenish products timely while maintaining visual merchandising and hygiene standards.
• Contribute to a positive store culture through collaboration and celebrating achievements.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in response to changing circumstances; support selling and operations as needed.
• Support store fulfillment and asset protection initiatives by ensuring accurate execution of processes and safety standards.

• Dedicated to customer service and drive to achieve store objectives.
• Skills and experience to perform in the role and commitment to continuous learning.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to store success.
• Self‑directed and able to work with minimal supervision in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable with technology including smartphones, tablets, and Windows‑based systems.
• Available to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Open to moving around store and engaging customers.
• Capable of lifting and moving at least 40 lbs.
• Enjoy assisting customers with makeup application and skincare services.
