Why Join Us?- Competitive Pay: $60–$75 per class (1.5‑hour sessions)

Hours:
Teach 1–5 classes per week, weekday afternoons 2:00 PM–5:00 PM - Travel Compensation:
Mileage reimbursement for rides over 15 miles one way
- Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students
- Use our structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and promote sportsmanship
- Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity
- Encourage problem‑solving, creativity, and critical thinking
- Follow school safety protocols and supervise during arrival, dismissal, and in‑class activities
- Travel to various local school sites and arrive on time, prepared, and ready to engage students
- Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or similar)
- Comfort leading a class independently and creating interactive, friendly, fun sessions
- Professional, positive, kid‑friendly demeanor
- Strong grasp of chess fundamentals and ability to explain concepts age‑appropriately
- Ability to connect chess problem‑solving to real‑life problem‑solving
- Reliable personal transportation and ability to drive between locations
- Availability weekday afternoons 2:00 PM–5:00 PM, capable of teaching 1–5 classes per week
- Commitment to implementing school safety protocols with strict adherence to policies
- Strong punctuality and time‑management skills
- Resume detailing relevant experience with children in educational, recreational, or mentoring settings
- Required questionnaire covering interest, experience, and qualification to teach chess

Lake Forest Park, WA. Relocation assistance not provided; candidates must be currently residing in the area or willing to relocate at their own expense.
