Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (DOE)

The Life Enrichment Coordinator – Memory Care enhances the quality of life for Senior Living residents. The coordinator designs and delivers personalized, purpose‑driven programs, promoting engagement, connection, and wellbeing. The role serves residents, families, and staff, fostering joy and purposeful activity.
Essential Functions- Resident Engagement Support
- Lead daily group and one‑on‑one life enrichment activities, adapting to residents’ mood and cognition.
- Create personalized activities tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences.
- Promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and mental wellbeing through engaging activities.
- Memory Care Focus
- Deliver meaningful daily programs for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s, emphasizing emotional wellbeing through self‑movement, art, sensory stimulation, reminiscence, and cognitive games.
- Align life enrichment activities with residents’ unique abilities, ensuring inclusion and recognition.
- Collaborate with care staff on program integration.
- Family and Hospitality
- Provide compassionate contact for families, guests, and volunteers.
- Build relationships that promote confidence and trust.
- Coordinate family visits, support groups, scenic drives, and seasonal celebrations.
- Use Carefeed and other platforms for timely communication.
- Administrative Management
- Create and distribute monthly newsletters and activity calendars for Crista Courtyard and Garden residents.
- Proofread and maintain weekly calendars for accuracy.
- Lead community‑wide programs across spiritual, cultural, physical, and creative enrichment.
- Manage activity space reservations via Microsoft Outlook.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Conduct reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith, and Christian Community Representative Commitment.

Essential Qualifications- Christ‑Centered: Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior; committed to spiritual growth; engages faith practices and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith.
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Software / Equipment Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Other Considerations:
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work on feet throughout the day.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management abilities.
- Availability for some weekends for program support.
- Home Care Aide Certification if directly involved in care.
- Education: Associate degree.
- Experience:
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in memory care or classroom settings.
- Experience with seniors and dementia care.
- Experience coordinating volunteers or intergenerational programs.
