The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets customers, treats others with respect, follows company best practices, maintains a clean work area, and ensures proper merchandise presentation.
Essential Functions- Practice safe behaviors and keep a clutter‑free, safe sales floor.
- Treat all customers and associates with respect and courtesy.
- Assist customers with merchandise, register‑train, and answer questions politely.
- Provide prompt responses and handle issues courteously; call leadership if needed.
- Represent the company brand at all times.
- Perform cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, and replenishing restroom supplies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dress code.
- Perform daily sizing and recovery assignments per company best practice.
- Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor and merchandize per monthly presentation guidelines.
- Understand the Loss Prevention Awareness program and other protection standards.
- Safeguard confidential information, cash, credit card information, and merchandise.
- Follow all Mark‑Out‑of‑Stock (MOS) policies and notify leadership for disposals.
- Process cash, checks, charge‑card and refund transactions accurately.
- Execute best practices and minimize steps to maximize productivity.

- Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and leadership.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Use all store equipment including PDTs, registers, PC.
- Stand, walk, and move around the store up to 100% of working time.
- Bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop regularly.
- Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies.
- Other qualifications may apply; stockroom shifts may require pushing or lifting more than 20 pounds.

CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $16.66 - $17.16 per hour, dependent on experience, skills, and location.
