Base pay range

• Lead the development of system requirements, interface control docs, and architecture using Cameo and SysML (MBSE)
• Define and manage system-level test plans, verification objectives, and traceability to DO-178C and DO-254
• Coordinate across software, firmware, hardware, and test teams to ensure system-level alignment
• Work on a product with complex comms protocols, safety-critical constraints, and multi-discipline integration
• Own the technical approach through milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)

• A background in software engineering / programming prior to moving into systems engineering
• Strong understanding of real-time communications protocols (UDP, RS-422, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553)
• Familiarity with systems certification standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-810, or MIL-STD-461
• Experience with MBSE tools like Cameo and requirements management systems like DOORS or Visure
