Admissions Coordinator - 1st Shift

Overview

Freedom Village Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) has been serving seniors in South Orange County since 1987. Our beautiful campus includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing.

We are always seeking exceptional people with a passion for working with seniors. Above all, we want people who are dedicated to the mutually rewarding experience that comes from caring for others.

• Communicate with hospital discharge planners and the Director of Nursing to review hospital referrals and coordinate incoming admissions.
• Respond to all consumer inquiries in person, telephone, or portal.
• Complete admission packet, collecting insurance cards and Durable Power of Attorney on new residents and/or responsible parties.
• Verify insurance prior to admission approval.
• Collect co‑pays relating to each payer source (Medicare, HMO, and private plans).
• Put on door names and bracelets upon new admissions.
• Input admissions in the Point Click Care system and balance the daily census.

Full time 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pay range: $21.00 – $23.00.

Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice, physical exam, TB, drug and alcohol screening. COVID‑19 vaccination preferred, not required.
