Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team in Lake Forest, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the assembly and testing of electro‑mechanical systems, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities
  • Completing tasks to build from component parts the electronic assemblies and sub‑assemblies
  • Completing appropriate paperwork associated with assembly orders
  • Adhering to all company operating procedures and quality requirements
  • Performing surface‑mount and through‑hole soldering on printed circuit boards
  • Trimming, clipping, crimping, and tinning of wires and leads
  • Properly label finished products
  • Fabricate, test and troubleshoot electrical cables, harnessed and electronic components and assemblies for high reliability integration
  • Harness and cable building
  • Assemble fabrication and inspect complex box builds
  • Integration of electrical and mechanical assemblies
  • Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools
  • Operate automatic and semi‑automatic machines to position, solder and clean prescribed components on printed circuit boards
  • May replace defective components and repair and overhaul older devices
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus
  • IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑A‑620 and JSTD‑001
  • Proven experience in electro‑mechanical assembly or a similar role
  • 2‑5 years of professional experience working with electronics down to the component level
  • Ability to assemble parts into metal enclosures
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical work instructions, drawings and schematics
  • Proficient with hand tools and electronic testing equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
