Westamerica is seeking a detail-oriented Prepress Supervisor to lead our production team. This role requires deep technical knowledge of prepress systems, color workflows, and print production, paired with the ability to lead a team and ensure every file meets the highest production standards.

• Oversee the prepress department, guiding daily operations and driving process enhancements that elevate quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and account teams for efficient job flow and file handoff.
• Prep, troubleshoot, and optimize print files for litho, digital, and wide format output.
• Maintain and enforce prepress SOPs to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Review client-supplied artwork, ensuring files meet print specs and color standards.
• Work with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and RIP software (Prinergy, Caldera).
• Manage templates, color profiles, and print areas for new and existing products.
• Provide internal support and occasional customer-facing guidance on print setup.
• Maintain organized digital file systems and drive continuous improvement in the department.

• 5+ years of hands-on prepress experience, including digital and offset workflows.
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and RIP software (Prinergy, Caldera; Enfocus a plus).
• Deep knowledge of color theory, file prep standards, and print production workflows.
• Strong attention to detail, quality-driven mindset, and ability to manage deadlines.
