As a
Registered Nurse (R.N.), you play a critical role in the patient experience. You are the steady presence families rely on, the clinical guide that providers count on, and the compassionate caregiver who ensures every child receives safe, excellent, and thorough care.
The Registered Nurse is an essential member of our care team, responsible for delivering professional nursing care while supporting providers and staff in coordinating patient services. Acting as a primary liaison between patients, families, and providers, the R.N. ensures every encounter reflects our standard of excellence, compassion, and trust.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and families with warmth and professionalism, guiding them through their visit.
- Provide direct nursing care, including assessing patients, collecting specimens, documenting medical history, and preparing patients for exams.
- Administer prescribed medications, immunizations, and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and testing.
- Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Maintain exam room cleanliness and readiness, ensuring necessary supplies and equipment are available.
- Manage vaccine inventory and assist with ordering medical supplies under nursing management protocols.
- Complete clerical tasks such as obtaining lab and imaging reports, hospital notes, and patient forms.
- Uphold HIPAA standards and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding protocols and procedures.
- Support colleagues with a spirit of teamwork, compassion, and accountability.
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment.
- A current Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
- A passion for pediatric care and a commitment to serving families with empathy and professionalism.
