Assistant General Manager – The Honey Baked Ham Company, LLC
We are seeking an energetic and customer‑focused Assistant General Manager to join our team of leadership professionals. Our store is a fast‑paced retail food service where you will guide daily operations, manage people, and drive sales while upholding our high standards of quality and service.
Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, ensuring excellent product quality, customer service, and inventory control.
- Meet and exceed sales and profit goals while managing labor costs and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop seasonal and full‑time staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.
- Analyze financial reports, control expenses, and implement operational improvements to maximize profitability.
- Maintain company standards for food safety, sanitation, and merchandising; ensure compliance with all local regulations.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership on training programs, promotional initiatives, and quarterly store assessments.
- Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a retail or restaurant environment, preferably in a fast‑paced food service setting.
- Strong business acumen: ability to understand cost drivers and make data‑driven operational decisions.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical capability to lift up to 65 lb, bend, stoop, stand for long periods, and work with heat sources such as hot torches.
